Le Richemond Review

Some say the soul departed from this landmark hotel when Rocco Forte took over and asked designer John Stefanidis to revamp it. The latter's take on the old crimson and crystal grandeur is hit-and-miss—but stay in a deluxe suite (3,500 SF) overlooking the Monument Brunswick and the ultra-chic pied-à-terre vibe is likely to win you over. The new bar, and Sapori, the Italian eatery, both have see-and-be-seen terraces, and the basement boasts a labyrinthine, candle-lit spa with a water wall for some serious chilling.
