The direct descendant of a late-19th-century hydroelectric safety valve, Europe's tallest fountain shoots 132 gallons of water – the equivalent of four standard bathtubs – 459 feet into the air every second at 125 mph (wind conditions permitting). The water is aerated by a special nozzle, making it white.

I missed the Jet d'Eau 2 years ago during winter. I was bent on seeing it this time, sept! When i saw it, I was overwhelmed by it. I kept snapping... Most stunning with the lightings on!
