Jet d'Eau

  • Address: Off quai Gustave-Ador, Eaux-Vives, Geneva

Fodor's Review:

The direct descendant of a late-19th-century hydroelectric safety valve, Europe's tallest fountain shoots 132 gallons of water 390 feet into the air every second at 120 mph (wind conditions permitting). The water is aerated on the way up by a special nozzle, making it white.
