Fodor's Review

This gracious, history-rich landmark hotel is awash with tasseled drapes and Louis Something furniture; standard rooms may be less époque but still bask in the vibe, and all rooms (and public spaces) feed from a grand five-story atrium. There's an elegant bar and world-class Thai restaurant, along with Le Chat Botté, the French restaurant that moves to an upstairs terrace in summer. Savoring a meal on its awning-shaded balcony with cascades of flowers in planters—not to mention lake, mountain, and Jet d'Eau views to die for—continues to be a Best of Geneva experience.
