Small bakeries abound in Switzerland, but this one features such local specialities as Steiner Scherben, a chocolate-covered toffee that is said to bring luck to those who eat it. Also check out the homemade pralines, fruit tortes, and other butter-laden confections, or do as locals do and nab a light snack (the muesli is tasty) or lunch (open-faced shrimp sandwiches are the way to go).
