Schwabentorturm (Swabian Gate Tower)

Schwabentorturm (Swabian Gate Tower) Review

Once a part of the city wall, the tower dates from 1370. Inside the arch on the keystone is a relief from 1933 that bears a wise caution for anyone crossing the street: "lappi tue d'auge uf" ("Open your eyes, you idiot!"). The tower's counterpart, the Obertorturm, lies just off the Fronwagplatz.
