By Bus in Berner Oberland

Postbuses (called postautos or postcars) travel into much of the area not served by trains, including most smaller mountain towns. Swiss Rail (0900/300300. www.sbb.ch) is the leading company, and even offers private motor-coach tours to many points of interest. Gray Line Switzerland (044/3831705) has a wide range of routes.
