This quiet, comfortable, turn-of-the-century pension north of Bern's Altstadt feaures sunny rooms—some with balconies—with light-wood accents, white walls, sinks, and up to four beds; the reception is open round the clock; breakfast—served in an airy, cheerful bistro-style room—can be served from 4:30 am; and the staff will do your laundry. There's an intimate common room with a TV.
