St. Alban-Eck Review
This neighborhood restaurant, a five-minute walk from the Kunstmuseum, is a well-known landmark in St. Alban. In a half-timber house, it's a real petit coin sympa (friendly little place), with plank wainscoting in natural wood, framed historic prints, and net curtains. The cuisine gracefully mixes Swiss and French favorites. Try the market-fresh grilled catfish with shrimp ragout and a fennel-tomato sauce, or a locally sourced veal steak with pink pepper and a white balsamic vinegar sauce, both complemented by seasonal vegetables.
