location, but poor value for the lodgings at Solgarden
Brigitte the owner is welcoming, but honestly she was a bit too strange for us-- an older cat lady. The accommodations were not particularly clean (the strong cat smells really bothered my allergic significant other). Everything is decorated in a kistchy, messy thriftshop kind of way, so do not go here if beautiful Scandinavian design is part of the reason for your visit. We were put in the "Garden House" which may be why we had a negative experience-- over US$120/night for a gloomy 8'x6' SHED w/o a bathroom. Thin mattress on the floor of a sleeping loft (ladder access) without any head room... ok for spunky kids but not nice for adults. Definitely overpriced for hostel-like accommodations. Lerberget is really just residential, only 1 restaurant. If I were to return to the area, I would definitely go up the coast 20 mins more to Molle-- much cuter town with better beaches, better hiking/biking, and better restaurants and hotels.
