Fans of all things nautical will love this hotel, a little sister to the nearby Lady Hamilton and Victory hotels. Your first high-seas encounter is with the enormous, carved-wood Nelson that stands rather sternly in the reception. Your deck (floor) and room will be each named for a type of ship. Inside is a model of the same ship and plenty of blue and white everywhere. Rooms are small, like cabins, but this just adds to the experience—minus the seasickness. Noise from traffic in the pedestrian street outside can be a problem in summer.
