Svea Hovrätt (Swedish High Court)

Svea Hovrätt (Swedish High Court) Review

The Swedish High Court commands a prime site on the island of Riddarholmen, on a quiet and restful quayside. Though it's closed to the public, you can sit on the water's edge nearby and watch the boats on Riddarfjärden (Bay of Knights) and, beyond it, Lake Mälaren. From here you can see the stately arches of Västerbron (West Bridge) in the distance, the southern heights, and above all, the imposing profile of City Hall, which appears almost to be floating on the water. At the quay you may see one of the Göta Canal ships.
