Stockholm Sights

Sergels Torg

Sergels Torg Review

Named after Johan Tobias Sergel (1740-1814), one of Sweden's greatest sculptors, this busy junction in Stockholm's center is dominated by modern, functional buildings and a sunken pedestrian square with subterranean connections to the rest of the neighborhood. Visitors are often put off by its darkened covered walkways and youths in hooded tops, but it is relatively safe and a great place to witness some real Stockholm street life.
