Bergianska Trädgården

Fodor's Review:

The beautiful Bergianska Botanical Gardens, on a peninsula extending out into the small bay of Brunnsvik, are a welcome respite from the city. They are only a short subway ride away. Paths weave along the water in the open park area. Visit Edvard Anderson's modern Växthus (Greenhouse) for its impressive Mediterranean and tropical environments. The century-old Victoriahuset (Victoria House) contains tropical plants as well, and has one of the best collections of water plants in the world.

  • Cost: Park free, Greenhouse SKr 40, Victoria House SKr 10
  • Open: Park daily yr-round; Victoria House May-Sept., daily 11-4, weekends 11-5; Greenhouse daily 11-5
