An imposing late-Victorian structure housing peasant costumes from every region of the country and exhibits on the Sami (pronounced sah-mee)—Lapps, the formerly seminomadic reindeer herders who inhabit the far north—and many other aspects of Swedish life. Families with children should visit the delightful "village life" play area on the ground floor.
