The island of Grinda has been popular with Stockholmers for a long time. The Grinda Wärdshus, a still-functioning inn from the turn of the 20th century, is one of the largest stone buildings in the archipelago. Since a number of walking paths cut through the woods and open fields, it takes just 15 minutes to walk from one end of Grinda to the other, and exploring is easy. The trip to the island takes about two hours. They also have a number of restored cabins from the
1940s available to rent by the night or by the week.
