Public Transport
Stadstrafiken is the name of Göteborg's excellent transit service. Transit brochures, which are available in English, explain the various discount passes and procedures; you can pick one up at a TidPunkten office. The best bet for the tourist is the Göteborg Pass, which covers free use of public transport, various sightseeing trips, and admission to Liseberg and local museums, among other benefits. The card costs SKr 225 for one day and SKr 310 for two days; there are lower rates for children younger than 18. You can buy the Göteborg Pass as well as regular tram and bus passes at Pressbyrån shops, camping sites, and the tourist information offices.
