Åkerblads Review
A sprawling, low-built hotel, with parts dating from the 1400s, Åkerblads is known primarily for its gourmet achievements. The restaurant ($$) serves an interesting blend of Swedish and French cuisine, including such dishes as pork roasted with eggplants and blueberries, and salmon with asparagus, truffle, and burgundy wine sauce. The hotel rooms are comfortable, and most have very good views of Lake Siljan.
