Walking

For the energetic traveler it's possible to walk the 90-km (56-mi) track from Sälen to Mora that's used for the Vasalopp ski race in March. Along the way you may very well see some elk wandering through the forest. Day shelters, basic night shelters, fireplaces, tables, signposts, and restrooms are set up along the trail. Facilities are free, but a small donation of your choosing is suggested for the night shelters.
