Lorca
Leave the highway for a glimpse of Lorca, an old market town and the scene of some of Spain's most colorful Holy Week celebrations. The Casa de los Guevara, on Lope Gisbert, houses the tourist office; from here head down Alamo to the elegant Plaza de España, ringed by rich baroque buildings, including the ayuntamiento, law courts, and Colegiata (collegiate church). Follow signs from the plaza up to the castle.
