Hotel Iori Review

Tucked away in the narrow streets of Vielha's old town, Iori is a delightful Japanese-style boutique hotel featuring modern simplicity and design—each room is clean and neutral, with good quality linens on dark wood furniture—and although minimalist, the dimmed lights and cheerful staff create a pleasant, calming mood. The focal point of the bar and restaurant area is an open central fireplace and this is an excellent place to unwind after a day walking or sightseeing. Iori's philosophy of serving environmentally sound food and drink on a macrobiotic menu is an interesting alternative to the heavier traditional Pyrenean food. Sushi is available if pre-ordered.
