Inside a flower-festooned 17th-century town house made of ancient stones, Jordi Pous's epicurean oasis is a handsome dining space and one of the Cerdanya's best addresses for both fine cuisine and good value. Beef a la llosa (seared on slabs of slate) and duck with orange and spices are house specialties, and the wide selection of entretenimientos (hors d'oeuvres or tapas) is the perfect way to begin. Ask Jordi, an encyclopedic food and wine savant, about wine selections, game, and wild mushrooms in season.
