Camprodón
Camprodón, the capital of its comarca (county), lies at the junction of the Ter and Ritort rivers—both excellent trout streams. The rivers flow by, through, and under much of the town, giving it a highland waterfront character (as well as a long history of flooding). The town owes much of its opulence to the summer folks from Barcelona who built mansions along the leafy promenade, Passeig Maristany, at its northern edge.
