A variety of Internet cafés and services exists throughout the city, especially in the Puerta del Sol neighborhood. Cyber Acceso, BBIGG, Cyberfutura, and La Casa de Internet are some of the largest ones. Shopkeepers and bartenders are good sources for finding a place to get online. The tourist offices on Plaza Mayor and Colón (open daily 9:30-8:30) have computer stations where you can check your e-mail for free. Wi-Fi access is also available at many cafés in the city and in some public areas, such as the Plaza de Santo Domingo and the Plaza Mayor tourist office.
Madrid's main post office, the Palacio de Comunicaciones, is at the intersection of Paseo de Recoletos and Calle de Alcalá, one long block north of the Prado Museum.
