De Las Letras Review

Modern-pop interior design seamlessly respects and accents the original details of this 1917 building on the bustling Gran Vía. Public areas feature glazed tiles, canopies, the original wood-and-iron elevator, a wooden staircase, and stone carvings. The rooms, painted in tones of ocher, orange, or burgundy, have high ceilings, wooden floors, indirect lighting, and over-the-top modern bathrooms. Each junior suite has a terrace with a whirlpool bath. There is also a charming rooftop terrace bar open to the public and you can enjoy a meal or a cocktail in the restaurant-lounge at street level.
