A few bulls' heads hanging in the lounge and some abstract pictures of bullfighting scattered around this ultramodern hotel are all that remain to remind visitors that this was once the place where bullfighters convened before heading off toward Las Ventas. The old flair has been superseded by cutting-edge services in the rooms: a USB port for recharging iPods, MP3 players and the like, a large flat-screen TV with surround sound, an advanced latex memory-foam mattress, and a minibar twice the size you'd find elsewhere. Common areas have round-the-clock entertainment; the restaurant is supervised by Asiana's talented chef; and two of the city's fanciest and busiest bars are here, including one rooftop establishment with a 360-degree panoramic view of the city. Pros: Unbeatable location, modern vibe, trendy bars and restaurant. Cons: Rooms are a bit small.
