Fodor's Review:

Despite what ads say, Madrid is not always sunny. If you hit a rainy or a chilly day, walk along the western side of the Convento de las Descalzas Reales until you see on your left the Chocolatería Valor; there you'll find the thick Spanish version of hot chocolate, perfect for dipping crispy churros.
