Popular with Americans, this stylish apartment hotel is near the Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza, and the Plaza Santa Ana tapas area. The attractive attic studios on the fourth floor have sloped ceilings with wood beams; there are larger suites (including some completely renovated rooms on the first floor) downstairs. All apartments are brightly decorated and have marble baths and basic kitchens. They have an agreement with the nearby Hotel Prado for breakfast, which can also be ordered as room service. Triples are a great deal. Pros: Large rooms, great for families and longer stays. Cons: A bit noisy; kitchens not always available for use.
