San Jerónimo el Real Review

Ferdinand and Isabella used this church and cloister as a retiro, or place of meditation—hence the name of the nearby park. The building was devastated in the Napoleonic Wars, then rebuilt in the late 19th century.

    OK church

This church is OK, if not worth going out of the way for. It's easy enough to take in between the Prado and Retiro Park if you don't catch them during their mid-afternoon closing period.
