Fodor's Review:

This ornate building on the southeast side of Plaza de la Cibeles, built at the start of the 20th century, is a massive stone compound of French, Viennese, and traditional Spanish influences. It now houses the Mayor of Madrid's office (and, sometime in 2009, the town council) and still functions as the main post office.
