At this charming tavern with more than 100 years of history, big wooden barrels serve as tables. There's great vermouth and draft beer, along with specialties such as salmorejo (thick, cold tomoato soup that's similar to gazpacho), a very juicy tortilla de patatas made by the owner's mother, and croquetas, including varieties with béchamel and prawns (carabineros) as well as aromatic cheese (Cabrales). By the way, you'll always hear a good selection of jazz music here.
