Jardín Botánico (Botanical Garden)

Jardín Botánico (Botanical Garden) Review

Just south of the Prado, the gardens provide a pleasant place to stroll or sit under the trees. True to the wishes of King Carlos III, they hold many plants, flowers, and cacti from around the world.

Nice way/place to either start or finish a visit to the Prado. Plenty of plants from anyplace the King's explorers explored. The great variety of 'meat-eating' plants are always a hit and look out for all the 'wild' cats! As of Fall 2009, garden admission was included in the Madrid Card.
