Fodor's Review

This glass-enclosed dining room, housed in what was once Gijón's fish market, overlooks the harbor and serves fine, imaginative seafood and meat dishes. Since taking the helm in 2011, Gonzalo Pañeda and Antonio Pérez have maintained the restaurant's renowned emphasis on its Cantabrian catch, with specialties like langostinos frescos en su jugo y tocino ibérico (fresh prawns in their juice with Iberian bacon) and merluza de pino "Puerto de Celeiro" con sopa de patata, citricos y cardamomo ("Port of Celeiro" line-caught hake, served with potato soup seasoned with citrus and cardamom).
