Fodor's Expert Review Tapadaki
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
It isn't on the way to any of the main monuments, but a visit to this tapas venue that fuses Mediterranean and Asian cuisine is more than worth the slight detour. Inside, choose from bar seating or more formal dining; there's also a pleasant outdoor terrace to enjoy the unusual menu. Here, you'll find tapas (from €3) such as an octopus kebab with smoked potato puree and peanut and lime sauce, an oxtail spring roll, stewed lamb with kimchi sauce, and vegetable couscous as well as an extensive sushi menu (weekends only). Tapadaki is hugely popular with locals, so book ahead to be sure of a seat.
