Casa Fidel

Casa Fidel Review

This Benalmádena-Pueblo restaurant is in a typical Andalusian house complete with arches, terra-cotta tiles, a large fireplace, and a small leafy patio. For a starter, try zucchini "carpaccio" with blue cheese and pine nuts, or a fish and seafood soup with saffron and Pernod. Main courses include king prawns with shallots and tagliatelle and some retro dishes, such as chicken Kiev with rice. The three-course menu ($$$), which includes a half-bottle of wine, is a particularly good value. Parking is nearly impossible in the surrounding narrow streets; instead, head for the car park at the base of the elevator near the Iglesia Santo Domingo church.
