Fodor's Expert Review 14 On the Quay

One of the Rock's more sophisticated restaurants, 14 On the Quay is appropriately located in Queensway Quay, which is less brash than nearby, newer Ocean Village. The menu changes with the seasons, but starters like lemon risotto with seared scallops and mains including the likes of roasted loin of wild boar with the classic British bubble and squeak are all served on locally produced, exquisite, crystal plates. Desserts such as the creamy malt-flavored mousse with a chocolate crust and shortbread are sublime.
