Catalonia, Valencia, and the Costa Blanca Restaurants

El Raset

El Raset Review

Across the harbor, this Valencian favorite has been serving traditional cuisine with a modern twist for 25 years. From a terrace with views of the water you can choose from an array of excellent seafood dishes. House specialties include arroz en caldero (rice with monkfish, lobster, or prawns) and gambas rojas (local red prawns). A la carte dining can be expensive, but set menus are easier on your wallet. The same owners run a very comfortable and modern hotel three houses down on the same street.
