A short 15-minute hop down the coast to Cambrils will give you a memorable chance to try one of the most famous restaurants in southern Catalonia. The Gatell sisters used to run two restaurants side by side; Fanny now carries on the tradition of exquisite local meals by herself in this one, named after their father, Joan. Try the fideus negres amb sepionets (noodle paella with baby squid cooked in squid ink) or lubina al horno con cebolla y patata (roast
sea bass with onion and potato). Cambrils is 18 km (11 miles) southwest of Tarragona.
