Hotel Playa Sol Review

Open for more than 50 years, the Playa Sol sits in the cove of Es Pianc, on the left side of the bay as you face the sea, a five-minute walk from the village center. The hotel underwent a full-scale renovation in 2011; rooms are light and airy, with modern furnishings; all but two have a balcony or terrace, and some have wonderful views of the sea. Boaters will love this place—all types of craft tie up here, as Costa Brava chronicler Josep Pla spread its fame as the best place to drop anchor in Cadaqués.
