Cueva de las Calaveras (Cave of the Skulls)

Cueva de las Calaveras (Cave of the Skulls) Review

Inland from Dénia, the 400-yard-long Cueva de las Calaveras was named for the 12 Moorish skulls found here when the cave was discovered in 1768. The cave of stalactites and stalagmites has a dome rising to more than 60 feet and leads to an underground lake.
