Fodor's Review

Family owned and run, this superb hotel, housed in an old castle surrounded by lush gardens, provides supreme luxury at a very good price. Most of the rooms are suites, with whirlpool baths and sitting rooms—some are duplexes with ironwork spiral stairways—and are housed in the 14th-century stone tower. The lobby is fit for a king, with stone walls, marble columns, a curved stone stairway with gargoyles, and an intricate Mudejar carved ceiling. The dining room has a cathedral ceiling and elaborate chandeliers, and the gardens contain a luxurious swimming pool where you can do laps under the castle eaves, alongside a fireplace.
