Plaza Mayor
Plaza Mayor Review
The south side of the cathedral overlooks the arcaded Plaza Mayor, a harmonious Renaissance square commissioned by Cardinal Mendoza. The small palaces and cobbled alleys mark the virtually intact old quarter. Along Calle Mayor you'll find the palace that belonged to the doncel's family. The plaza hosts a medieval market on weekends.
