Parador de Cuenca Review

In the gorge next to the Huécar river beneath the Casas Colgadas, this parador is the exquisitely restored 16th-century convent of San Pablo. The coffered ceilings and ceramic tile murals are justly famous, while the glassed-in cloister and the classic Castilian furniture complete the noble decor. Rooms are furnished in a lighter and more luxurious style than is usually the norm for Castilian houses of this vintage.
