Castle Review
Alarcón's castle dates from the 8th century, and in the 14th century it came into the hands of the infante (child prince) Don Juan Manuel, who wrote a collection of classic moral tales. Today the castle is one of Spain's finest paradors. If you're not driving, you can take a bus to Motilla and from there take a short taxi ride to the castle.
