Fodor's Review

This small cove is dwarfed by Los Gigantes, the towering cliffs nearby; it's about 12 km (7 miles) north of Playa de las Américas. The swimming's safe here, and this is a quieter beach than Los Cristianos. The black sand soaks up the sun, so be careful, particularly with children, when walking or lying on it. The nearby marina provides boat trips along the coast to take in the full beauty of the cliffs. Amenities: food and drink; lifeguards; showers; toilets; water

sports. Best for: sunset; swimming.
