Europa Review

Generally considered Pamplona's best restaurant, the Europa, in the hotel of the same name, offers a decidedly epicurean take on traditional Navarran cooking. The small and light first-floor dining room offers the perfect backdrop to dishes like slow-cooked lamb and pork, or the best bacalao al pil pil you may try on your trip. À la carte dining is expensive, but there are excellent tasting menus available for €51 and €75.

    Great Navarran Cuisine!

Europa, one of several excellent restaurants in Pamplona, has long been a favorite destination of ours when in Navarra. Owned by a cousin of Juan Mario Arzak, and sporting a well deserved Michelin star, it offers a range of excellent creative and traditional Navarran cuisine, directed by Maria Pilar Idoate, a Eurotoque chef.

If you'd like to dine at the Europa during fiesta, then plan on making reservations well in advance. Both lunch and dinner can easily stretch out to more than 3 hours.

It offers an excellent €52 tasting menu year around and a special San Fermín menu during fiesta.
