Fodor's Review:

Bermeo's Museo del Pescador is the only museum in the world dedicated to the craft and history of fishermen and the fishing industry, from whales to anchovies. The tower was built by native son Alonso de Ercilla y Zuñiga (1533-94), poet and eminent soldier. Ercilla's "La Araucana," an account of the conquest of Arauco (Chile), is considered one of the best Spanish epic poems.
