By Bus in Barcelona

Barcelona's main bus station is Estació del Nord, east of the Arc de Triomf. Buses also depart from the Estació de Sants and from the depots of Barcelona's various private bus companies. Rather than pound the pavement (or the telephone, usually futile because of overloaded lines) trying to sort out Barcelona's complex and confusing bus system, reserve online or go through a travel agent, who can quickly book you the best bus passage to your destination.

City buses run daily 5:30 AM-11:30 PM. The fare is EUR 1.40. For multiple journeys purchase a Targeta T-10 (valid for bus or metro; 10 rides for EUR 7.20). Route maps are displayed at bus stops. Schedules are available at bus and metro stations or at www.bcn.es/guia/welcomea.htm.
