Marula Café
Marula Café Review
A relatively new kid on the block, Marula Café opened with the express aim to bring what they consider "real music" back into the Barcelona nightlife. No electronic music will enter this slick venue with its backlighted glass walls: past the bouncer it's just funk, disco, and Latin vibes. The crowd is a mix of hip locals who come dance and foreigners who've stumbled in from the tourist circuit off Plaça Reial. There are regular concerts, too; check the website for details.
