Fodor's Expert Review Taverna del Born

Tapas and sandwiches are served at this terrace, bar, and restaurant overlooking the Born market and operating dawn until midnight. The tables outside manage to attract a pleasant breeze in summer and plenty of sunshine in winter, and the intersection is one of the Born area's liveliest. The slider-style mini-hamburgers are the pick of the fairly predictable menu, but the unexceptional food is compensated for by the excellent location, which is ideal for watching the world go by.
