Three blocks west of Rambla Catalunya, near the upper middle of the Eixample, this streamlined, fresh-feeling space has been recently renovated into one of Barcelona's most aesthetically pleasing and economical lodging options. The public spaces are relaxing and chic, sporting framed vintage ads. Guest rooms are bright and stylish with oversize warm wood headboards, beige textiles, and inset lighting. (Some have checkboard floors.) A rooftop pool and terrace bar provide a combination nightclub/country club, while the minimalist dining room offers an economical fixed-price lunch menu.
